December 21, 2009 "UPCOMMING FUTURE" By Apostle Slim Thompson © Tree of Life Ministries, Inc. Our Lord Jesus has been doing so much changing and rearranging in many ways and HIS ways are always the best. #1 He is giving us a new Vision for Tree of Life Church (our home base) in Hutsonville, Illinois. Although the Vision of God is straight forward, clear and simple "to Seek and to save that which is Lost and to destroy the works of the devil," often we find ourselves in stagnate waters, at impasses or HIS without direction of how to implement HIS plan to accomplish HIS agenda. We are presently in a time of the unchurched generation which has been confused by slothfulness, religious hypocrisy, humanism and the quote, "political correct voices of today." All of which is ever changing and becoming more corrupt BUT OUR GOD IS A NEVER CHANGING GOD!! And IS never changing in forever changing us to do what is HIS good will and pleasure to save, deliver, heal and restore all the hurting in HIS creation - especially MANKIND (Male & Female). Personal evangelism is needed to return to not only preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ but revealing it in faith action that permeates and meets the needs of present day people in their present day lives just as our Lord did when he walked on this earth. #2 With base again being set and in placed, HE is again leading us again to, “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel.” Matthew 28:18-20 18 And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. So many letter, email and even phone calls from countries where we have already been and new countries have been pleading with us to come. New places expressing such hunger to hear the Gospel not only in word but with demonstration power of the Holy Spirit, while familiar places ask if we have forgotten them. My heart is torn between the needs here and abroad and I covet your prayers of intercession. #3 The Present Times of Today are a clear sign of the urgency that we are living and laboring in “The Last Days.” Trouble times are discouraging the Body of Christ to neglect the poor, to forsake the Great Commission to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ by witness, tracks, preaching, teaching, evangelism in this world. God help us that we not fail to recognize our purpose to endure to the end. Let us not become weary in well doing. Galatians 6:8-9 8 For he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. In all thing let GOD be magnified!! Apostle Slim Thompson November 4, 2008 "ONE NATION UNDER GOD" The 2008 Presidential Election has now appointed President- Elect Barack Obama as the next President of the United States of America with Vice President-Elect Joe Biden. The race of Presidential, Senatorial, Congressional and Governorships across the USA have been set for much of the next four years. Conceding and Acceptance speeches have been humbly spoken. Every believer in Jesus Christ must put a watch on his or her tongue to not speak against this Country's present or future leadership. Much gloom and doom has been spoken for which we must repent. Also division has been voiced which must cease. 2 Chronicles 7:14 will be our prayer of repentance of the sins of this nation and seeking God to heal the United States of America that her later glory may be greater than her former. Now it is time to continue to pray for the leadership of our elected officials local, state and federal that they may receive Wisdom from God our Father and His Son our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to enable them to be led by the Holy Spirit to lead and serve this "One Nation Under God." Pray that our Leaders support Israel even more than before so that God may Bless and use America again for His Glory. Blessed be the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
