What we Believe
1. We believe in the entire Bible and that it is the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and personal conduct.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17)
2. We believe in the Trinity of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, one God and one Creator of all things, seen and unseen.
(Matthew 28:19; 1 John 5:7)
3. We believe God became incarnate as Jesus Christ, was begotten of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary and is true man and true God. (John 1:1-4; Matthew 1:23-25)
4. We believe in the personal salvation of believers through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ as a gift from God, requiring only belief with the heart and confession with the mouth. (Eph. 2:8-9; Romans 10:9-10)
5. We believe in personal purity of heart, sanctification and the New Birth by the Blood of Jesus, and in separation from the world.
(1 John 3:1-3; I Thessalonians 4:3-4; 2 Corinthians 6:17-18)
6. We believe in the resurrection from the dead and in an eternal Heaven for the saved and in a literal eternal hell for all who chose to be lost.
(1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Matthew 7:23; 25:46)
7. We believe in miracles and divine healing through faith in God’s infallible Word. (Mark 11:22-24; 16:15-18; John 14:12-14; Exodus 15:26; James 5:14-15; Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; 1 Peter 2:24)
8. We believe in the renewing of the mind by the Word of God for complete transformation of individual believer’s lives and freedom from all bondages and idolatries of men and satan. (Rom 12-1-2; Titus 3:5; John 14:32, 36)
9. We believe in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit as distinct from the New Birth. (Matthew 3:11; Acts 2:1-4; 10: 44-48; John 7:37-39)
10. We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and that they are active now, for this current time, in a body of Christ that is not divided, but that all believers are the Body of Christ with ministries to perform for and in Christ’s Body. (1 Corinthians 12:1-11; Ephesians 4:8-16)
11. We believe that in order to assure proper testimony and witness before the world one must abstain from all appearance of evil.
(1 Thessalonians 5:22)
12. We believe that a life lived for Christ must be one that is Holy and that it is the local church’s responsibility to administer to all members the teaching of Biblical holiness and purity. (1 Thessalonians 3:10-13; Hebrews 12:14; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Ephesians 4:24; 1 Peter 1:16)
13. We believe in, and teach the Rapture of the Church of Jesus Christ. We believe that the New Testament teaches, in that day, which know man knows, all Christians (the Church) will be rapture (caught up) to meet and be with the Lord forevermore. We teach this rapture to be a pre-tribulation event; where Christ will present Himself a Glorious Church prior to the outpouring of God’s wrath, which precedes the Second Coming of Christ to reign over the earth. (1 Thes 4:13-18; 5:9; 1Cor 15:51-53; Mat 24:36)
14. We believe in water baptism by immersion as a command of Jesus Christ to all that believe in Him as Lord and Savior. The believer is to recognize that as he is buried with Christ in death, that he also should walk in newness of life. (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12)
